A Rainy Day

Outside the children play with much fun
Under the warmth of the glistening sun
Then the clouds gather one by one
And cover up the glistening sun

From the clouds rain pours by the second
And into the houses the children run
Look at what the rain has done
Chased in the children and covered the sun!

Lightning and thunder loudly brighten the sky
That now wet ground begs to be dry
Down comes the rain so sneaky and sly
I wish the rain would say goodbye

Hours pass by, the rain pours on
But very soon it shall be gone
So all you children don't dare fret
A glistening sun you all shall get!
